I just finished reading this book and the ending has me in a spellbound! I have been following this Snow White retelling since book 1 and by book 3 you’d start wondering where and how far would this fairy tale reimagining would go, and would it even live up to the expectation? The answer is a big fat yes. This is the kind of book series that gets better with every next installment of it. Massive compliments to the author for keeping up with the quality storytelling, and holding the interest up. It’s absolutely gripping and makes up for a very fascinating read, even if retellings are not your thing. I am actually becoming a fan of the way these books end in a massive twist and a shock that always gets me and has me panting for more.

This book has Snow for a very sweet ride. It’s all sing-songs, and happy merry-go-rounds for Snow. It has mostly a festive vibe to it, there are Christmas celebrations, and wedding preparations, and for once it looks like that Snow will finally get her happy ever after, but you are in for a big surprise at the end. This, so far is my favorite book of the series. I really like how the character of Mitch is written as such a gentleman and how all the characters retain their usual, quirky, witty selves, they make up for some very light, cute parts of the story. Oh, and there are some delightful adventures too.

But I just keep coming back to how awesome the ending of this book was. I’m really enjoying how other fairy tales are being intricately interweaved into it, and something is telling me the next book is going to be super awesome. I’m already excited.
