I adored this book. It hit so many sweet spots for me: good writing, writing about writing/writers, a thoughtful female protagonist, a story line that felt both natural and surprising, an examination of a mother/daughter relationship. It felt familiar to me in many ways and comfortable because of that. I was truly hooked from the first chapter.
