This is what I imagine stans to be like if instead of being fans of celebrities they were just really into regular people.
A unique book and narration but not very exciting. Overall mundane with the most stirring element of the story being how delulu the narrator is.

The tale of an unassuming woman and her stalker, this is an odd little book about how the stalker attempts to become a part of her obsession's life by steering her into a job at the hotel where she cleans. The writing and translation is clean and extremely readable, and it maintains a fascinating cold yet obsessive tone throughout.
I've never had such a hard time selecting moods, btw. I almost want to say the book is quirky (if that's even a mood), but I rarely like quirky stories, so perhaps that doesn't fit it, either. Challenging, dark, and mysterious don't really capture it, but that's as close as I can get.
