While this book still held some similar themes, there was also some polarizing differences between Magnolia's book and Daisy's book. First and foremost being, their upbringing. Daisy was sheltered majority of her life because of the occupation that her brother has. He was her provider growing up, and it's all she's known. Getting to know her character in depth and how she navigates life and her relationship with Christian was so different, and yet--still so raw. I was rooting for Daisy and Christian's relationship, especially because they had been through similar circumstances throughout their life and previous relationships. The ending of this book had me ALL UP IN my feels.

This is like 5+ stars.

I’ve been reading this through a recent breakup so it hit waaay harder. So many quotes I resonated with. So much emotion I was experiencing in my real life. I felt Daisy’s pain. I’m living it.
This book broke me but honestly I’m happy it did. I think I needed it in a way.

I think in every Daisy pov, I shed a tear or just completely bawled my eyes out. And Christian… poor Christian.

Omg Julian. I have to see what happens next. I’m going to take a little break to mend my little heart lol but these characters, I feel in my soul.

I would say I like the Daisy Haites side of it all over Magnolia Parks but I love the whole group still.

The ending tore me to pieces though.
I wanted Daisy and Christian to end up together so badly. But life happens, and it could be right person wrong time. And Daisy deserves normalcy.

I went into this pretty sceptical because Magnolia Parks was a 2 star book for me and I hated their world and the characters.

First of all I hate Jessa Hastings writing sometimes (and it makes me sad because so many people love it 😭) because to me it feels like she’s trying so hard to write poetically and it just cringes me a lot.
Also I did feel like Julian’s POV chapters weren’t really necessary and the book could’ve been way shorter and just as good without them.

I have to say tho that I loved Daisy, I really liked Romeo (I’m shipping them so hard) and I also enjoyed Christian a lot. They didn’t annoy or cringe me all that much compared to Magnolia and BJ and I could empathize Daisy a lot. I’m really looking forward to the other Daisy books and because of the Magnolia chapter at the end I’m also looking forward to her other books! 😮‍💨

I'm going to keep it brief. I have an unhealthy love for these books and Daisy and Christian were just wayyy more loveable to read about than Magnolia and BJ's toxicity. Christian is such a thoughtful and sweet guy and I love him. I love Julian Haites despite all of his many flaws. Lastly, the ending of this book genuinely hurt my feelings. Can't wait to read the next one! lol

I don’t know how to review this book.
I really didn’t like the first half of this book. All these characters are so toxic and selfish. I struggled to like any of the characters. I hated Daisy. She was a horrible person. So was Christian and don’t even get me started on Julian. So how did these characters I hated so much make me so emotional?

The writing was amazing. If a little bit slow at the beginning. The end. Wow. That last 5 chapters really got me and wrecked me. And I have to read the rest. I need to know what happens next.
