Okay, so I liked this book, I really did. I thought Apollo was hilarious, but the story itself wasn't that great. It was Tee same thing as all the Percy Jackson books before and even though I enjoyed them, eventually it's just enough of it. I will probably still continue with the series, just because it is very funny.

Good start to a new series, while still keeping some of our favorite characters. I’m invested, let’s go!!

Also kinda cool making the villain, the villain with the semi twist in the end, very “Lightning Thief.” I’m really excited for this villain having studied about this person’s era in Rome during my architectural studies. Interested to see how Riordan is going to spin this new series.

Also also, like this God, not a god thing though. It’ll be cool to see Apollo grow through a human experience.

I really enjoyed this book, it was really fun to see the character development Apollo goes through during the duration of the book! I love the Percy Jackson universe and I am very happy with this addition to it!

The book is pretty slow, but it speeds up towards the middle.
Spoiler I wish Percy Jackson was more than a minor character,
Spoiler but I do understand that three epic quests in a row would really be pushing it.
Spoiler I do not like how the reader grows to love Meg, but then Meg turns out to be a villain.
Spoiler Readers definitely need to read the Percy Jackson series in order for the plot to make since  as
Spoiler many characters from the previous series become major characters. I.E Solangelo and  Caleo. (Yes, Leo and Calypso return at the end of the book.)
Spoiler Overall, The Hidden Oricle is well-written, but I do NOT like the plot, and I am only continuing to read the series because I want to finish out the Percy Jackson books and find out what happens to the PJATO and PJHOO characters.
