I resented Willy's resentment towards his wife, Marianne.
and although it was interesting to see how grief of losing a child not yet born could be experienced by the non-carrying parent, I just couldn't understand his hate (?) towards his wife.
the end was gory, but somewhat fitting.

the writing felt somewhat pretentious but overall very engaging and I was directly transported into the story which I really liked.

This was decently written but was also actively horrific and I’m physically nauseous after reading it. I’m not usually particularly squeamish or bothered by gory things, but this is very much a nope for me, thanks.

This is what happens when you don't deal with your grief or your anger.

Eerie, but not necessarily for the right reasons.
The Pram had an intriguing concept - a brief horror story focusing on miscarriage, but from the father's point of view. It maintained a good sense of timing and atmosphere. However, I wasn't completely satisfied with the direction the story took in the end, and certain parts seemed more like random thoughts from the author, rather than deliberate plot elements.

Joe Hill’s writing is completely immersive. Listened to this on audio and the narrator on kindle was perfection. Talk of real life problems along side terrible experiences & mental dissipation is something of perfection for me.

I will forever love short stories !
