I think I would have given four stars if it weren't for all the grammar and spelling mistakes. There simply were way too many, which annoyed me to no end and made me lose focus.
I've seen worse editing, but this one had me close to DNF several times.

I really thought this was a great debut novel. The story itself was truly amazing. The characters were all easy to fall in love with. Especially August **SWOON**. The main downfall I had with this book was a few inconsistencies I found in the time frames and the editing (which I usually try and over look, but it was rough throughout). All in all this is definitely a good read.

3.5 stars.

I really enjoyed the first half of this book. I kinda felt like the second half dragged a little, I knew what was going to happen with August and I was just ready for it to hit the fan. What this book really needed was an editor. Trader instead of traitor? Hear instead of here? To and too were used wrong most of the time. Sometimes "me" is correct; it isn't always "I." These things were just really distracting to me, and maybe that's being nitpicky, but I can't help it. I do plan to read the second book in the series. I'm looking forward to Wes and Capri's story, I think I'll like it better.
