It was a good story. I didnt really understand much of the end of it though. I didnt love the art style, but that one part where damian finds goliath was amazing.

I'm definitely rating up, but I just enjoyed it so much & and I want to know what happens next, & I'm slightly emotional because this was cancelled, but he's going to lead the teen titans so I'm excited, and he's just a baby!

Because I'm pretty incoherent right now, I'm going to list the things I LOVED!

• Goliath, that adorable bat dragon
• Maya. Especially when she helped Damian with his loose tooth
• DAMIAN STILL HAS BABY TEETH, I'M DYING!
• Ravi! My heart bleeds for him! He's like the Al Ghul's own personal Alfred! His story almost brought me to tears
• Talia Al Ghul, I actually really liked this crazy bitch
• Maya & Damian. I really we see them together again, the whole "R" talk made me so happy
• Baby Goliath
• Damian's brothers!
• Damian's whole reasoning for redemption
• Deathstroke's little pep talk
• Just Damian in general I actually really loved that little shit!

I LOVED IT I WANT MORE, REBIRTH NEEDS TO START NOW!

I enjoyed it, but it was a little sluggish in its writing. The art was great, like Gleason is well known for, but his writing was pretty heavy handed for me. At points, it felt like things were just kind of happening for the sake of happening, like Deathstroke. The main arc went unresolved as well, in favor of the Robin War arc, which also kind of bothered me (although I don’t think that was Patrick’s fault). Some story points felt like they just… ended as well and prematurely.

Either way, I think Damien Wayne is a super underrated and very conflicted character and I thought he did well to bring that to life, with his redemption from The Year of Blood and his entire backstory, including Goliath.

I hope the next volume resolves some of these arcs with Nobody and Talia and makes me look back on this one with better eyes.
