A very enjoyable rejected mates wolf shifter standalone! I REALLY loved the FMC and Rhett. They felt like such refreshing, light-hearted characters despite the circumstances.

Needs some editing and readers to catch the many inconsistencies that appeared throughout the book. I stopped keeping track of them after a while, but the most egregious was the FMC somehow (off page) developing a connection with the ghosts of the manor and vowing to come back to help them, and then later swearing that she didn't ever want to go back to the island and only going back because she was forced to. She said and did whatever was needed when it was needed, and then it was like it was forgotten later. Or like how one neither comments that the woman at the bar they often went to was supposedly into his brother, but when they later actually went there with the FMC, she had her own harem of men and she only barely tolerated the MMCs.

This storyline was so, so, so good, but the execution left a lot to be desired. Everything emotional happens off the page so I have idea how a relationship developed between not only the FMC and her guys, but also how or when the guys forgave each other, or even when they decided to share, because it all just sort of happened whenever it was most convenient for the story, no matter what had previously happened in the pages just before.

Things are just rushed through so by the end of the book it still felt like only a few days had passed, but it was actually weeks. One relationship is severely underdeveloped while the majority of the time is spent on the other two relationships. The ending didn't give us much, and we barely got a few sentences about how things were wrapped up, and nothing about how they were settling into their new roles and lives together. I really just wish we had gotten more from this story than we did because it's one of my favorite tropes.

Spoilery edit: I forgot to mention how sis went from being a virgin to riding on top her first time with zero instruction and was *good* at it (because of course), to having sex again a few hours later with another virgin in the exact same way, to MINUTES later becoming a double stuffed oreo with both men, with the newly non-virgin taking her ass. I just--what in the Wattpad is this??

This was an OK read, nothing too thrilling and it did seem to move very fast but that’s because it is a stand alone book.

Plot was intriguing but the whole Ghost thing kind of put me off a bit. I felt like the end was a cop out, they should have taken Lucas and Cyrus back to the pack and showed them for what they are.

There could have been a lot more to do with the vampires in this as they were obviously a huge part of this book but appeared for only a short amount of time.

It was ok but it won’t be a re read for me.

After an attack by a stalker with supernatural power, everything shatters around Legacy. Nobody believes her, let alone her own mate. They believe she lost control. She is taken to Reject Island, an island for those who are dangerous or unstable, till she can prove her stability. Her attacker is still out there. She vowed to bring him down and show the true nature of the pack, no matter how much attraction she feels to the three beautiful guards on the island with her. Will she get revenge on her mate and pack? Does she deserve a second chance at love?

The first book in the series Reject Island and I like my reading very much. There is character development, and mystery. The male characters are caliente. It’s a reverse harem, but they don’t all want her right away. This is gradual and adds volume to the story. My favorite moment is definitely the payback against her mate, but the end also felt rushed. I’m really intrigued to read the other books in the series even more knowing it’s a different author for each book.

In this book, you will find.
Revenge
Shifter
Why choose (RH)
Possessive MC
Mystery
Lovers to enemies

This is the first book I have read by May Dawson. I enjoyed the story, I felt the ending was a little rushed but it was a decent story.
