A dramatic romance without great adversaries and very cheesy at times. It sounds like a soap opera but I'm not sure if it's in a positive or negative sense. I enjoyed the element of magical realism, which seems to be the most notable part of the work.

Cute book that pulled me into the book by dangling a carrot in front of me. It can get exhausting chasing the carrot.

The perfect combination of a cozy southern setting, magic, and characters you root for. Though there are many aspects of this book that are moving and a bit sad, it truly added to the wide range of emotions I felt. Really loved this book.
