Magnificent. Brilliant. Exhilarating. Breath-taking. Heart-pumping. Earth-shattering. These are only a few of the words that could even attempt to describe the intricate journey of reading Crooked Kingdom. Although, the world building has received its fare share of appraise, it deserves all the more compliments nonetheless. Bardugo’s masterful writing created a new universe of characters and works that are not only incredibly believable and complex, but also enjoyable. Through this wonderful reading journey, I as a reader have become part of the Six of Crows’ crew. I have experienced the shame, the anguish that came with hardships, the comfort and relief that followed  the wins, the pure terror and fear with unsuspected plot twists, but through it all I have felt the characters hearts.  I felt
Nina’s love for the world(and food). I have held my breath with Inej on that rope. I have paced the room with Jesper. I have looked Jan Van Eck in the eyes with Wylan and read. I have seen the hope in young Fjerda soldiers eyes with Matthias. And I have felt Kaz Brekker’s sizzling revenge as he saw Pekka Rollins beg for his songs life. I was there on that boat saying Farewell to Matthias on that boat
. The pure raw emotion I felt from this book was overwhelmingly realistic. From characters thoughts to their human mistakes, the story could not be crafted better. This story truly deserves all the hype it receives online and in person. I have nothing more to say than “If you want to truly know the magnificence of this book. Do not look for it in this review. You will only find it in the starting pages of this book. Now go and read it. ”

P.S- the world building is incredibly complex and it took me months to finish this book. It was all worth it.

I wasn’t really sure about the hype surrounding these characters after finishing Six of Crows. But this book sealed the deal for me. I love them, too, and the way their stories meet and diverge, the way they have their own goals and their own drive, the way they support one another (or not), and the ways in which their dynamics can change based on who they interact with. Was the plot great? It was fun. Did Kaz save the day just a time too many with a barely believable plan? Maybe. But I don’t mind.

"There's no time to constantly be apologizing for existing"

Está secuela me gustó muchísimo más que el primero por qué siento que se desarrolló mucho más la dinámica de todos como grupo, lo acabo de terminar y ya los extraño

"She had chosen to live freely as a killer rather than die as a slave"

Y como desarrollo todos los romances UFFFFF, tengo a mi pareja favorita y no es la obvia,te amo Leigh bardugo aunque me hayas hecho llorar en las últimas 40pgs

"No mourners
No funerals"
