Great storyline with great characters. I love how the story unfolded. I recommend you read it. Remember books are an art form and not every book will be for everyone!

Ava Gray’s romances are certainly growing on me, and I was totally shipping for Makenzie and Holden in this book. Lots of tropes to unpack- second chance romance, miscommunication, secrecy pregnancy (which everyone loves to hate), so so many. The book goes into the past and forward to the present a lot but does so pretty fluidly- you get a lot of the backstory between the main characters to realize that theirs was not a simple tryst. I was pretty shocked they went on for literal years without anyone realizing it! The book has plenty of good spice to go along with it as well- not at all dark but pretty fluffy and angsty. I did enjoy the read and at least than 200 pages it was a quick one!.

I enjoyed this one. In general it was a bit mediocre and the sex scenes weren't amazing, but it was a nice fast read and i really liked Holden and i loved the dual povs
