Smartly done cyberpunk story of a cyborg Cinder(ella) and her prince in a future, post WW IV Beijing.

Did i know from the beginning who's princess Serena - yes. Were some other aspects of the book predictable - yes. And yet i find the whole concept and the book itself interesting and that's why i intend to read the next one as i suspect it could be more compeling with the new characters put in a new light :) If you like easy-to-read fairytales - this book is for you.

This is a fantastic new take on fairy tales in a future-ish version of our world. I love how Meyer takes the tales we're familiar with and braids them together. At times you're not sure which tale is being told for Cinder but it's still clearly Cinderella...just with a nice science fiction twist.

I am in love with this book. Also a big fan of cinderella and the author was amazing and really understand the story of cinderella. I had this thought though that the villian and some written scene remind me of my favorite anime tv show, I also found out the author is a fan of and it is Sailor Moon. Dont want to go in details because it will ruin and spoil other people's reading. Just will say this, Sailor Moon fan look into it, I am sure I am not makeing things up. So to the book the writing style is easy to read, and the world building was there and interesting, the characters are loveable and I actually like them alot. Clear plot and since there is a continuation the ending was alittle confusing but it finish well.

I'm so mad at myself for letting this book sit on my shelf for years because, holy shit, it's so incredible! Everything I want in a book is right here! It's a fairy tale retelling, futuristic sci fi, it's got an awesome mc, a great plot, and the sweetest romance ever.

Seriously, I can't find a single fault in this book. I'm so glad I read it and so EXCITED to have three books left - I already know this is going to be one of my favourite series' of all time.

OMG.

Really liked the character development also I adore how this book actually brought out a very deep emotion from me, wrath, for certain characters. The one thing that I wish was different is how predictable it is, I was able to predict the plot twists within the beginning chapters.
