This book is so delightful. It is light and fun, with the right mix of anticipation, suspense, humor, and romance. The characters are wonderfully created and make for such a fun spontaneous adventure.

Cute book! It was short, but really sweet. An ok first shot from a new author. I listened as audiobook, but got the impression the language was for easy readers. No matter it was a fun read with a cute ending!

In the beginning I liked the book. It felt like an easy, happy read. But since ending felt so rushed and the book overall lackt dept, I'm giving it 3-3,5 ⭐

4.5 stars. Where to start with this one? I really loved it! Not to mention that I want to participate in something like this! How much fun! Now, I'd heard of the HitW before, Hotties in the Wild, but now I'm intrigued, is there really a Facebook page for it? I need to find it! I also need to get better about taking my own pictures of HitWs if I find them. Although now that I think back on it, the ones I'm thinking of were noticed while I was working at the bookstore, where I wasn't allowed to have my cell phone on me.
Overall this was a pretty simple story, but still had a lot of good emotions and fun banter. While I definitely loved our main couple, Lauren and Brenner, I might actually have developed a little bit of a crush on Brenner's best friend Scott. All of the picture ideas were really good! I could totally picture all of them, except one. Based on the description of Lauren's tattoo, I had trouble picturing it. If the author knows someone with that real tattoo, I'd love to see a picture! What else to say? I really just loved this book! I will look for more books by this author in the future for sure. If there was anything negative to say about the book, it would be that I don't feel like her reason for being disqualified was fair. I mean, it was a picture of more than just one person from earlier entries. I also liked the way that was saved, but I was a little sad we didn't get to hear what the final photos should be.

A fun, flirty story that is lighthearted and sweet even if the two hotties are carrying around a lot of dark baggage. I would like to see more of these four characters. The story focused on four characters instead of just one or two which is an interesting switch. It also left me craving for more from each character.

Lauren entered the Hashtag hunt for the $10,000 prize money in order to fulfill her dream of opening her own business. She meets up with her bestie, Ivy at a bar in order to fulfill as many of the tasks as possible before the deadline. The one that starts everything is #hottieinthewild. This hottie wasn't alone. He has a hot friend. Oops! Lauren gets caught taking his picture. The hotties decide to help Lauren and Ivy with Lauren's mission and help her win her prize money...with only hours left of the night.

This was a fun read from beginning to end. Ms. Emmes and Mr. Paige were a great choice for narrators. They did their job of bringing the characters to life. They left me wondering what other adventures they may take the reader on. The sad part was that the time went by so quickly.

The book is listed as a contemporary but when the characters talk about certain things they found, I thought they were talking as if they were from the future and looking at things from the past – not a recent past but a very distant past. Having a little romance is just a perk for our hunters.

It’s a story that shows how creative our author is. There’s that saying, “you can’t make this stuff up” but I think Ms. Seek has proved that’s not true. I’d love to see how she plans to follow this up. Will it come out in audio form again? I think this is one of those cases where you can’t go wrong having both the written version and the audio version. It’s a great book to relax with.

I work in an Academic setting and I think the students would get a real kick out participating in their own hunt. The author gives you all sorts of ideas of things you could do with friends, with a group of people or a game at a party. I can see listening to the book and looking for some of the same items as our main characters – you can certainly steal my idea for your enjoyment.

I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

I didn't know much of anything about this going in, but it was an incredibly fun adventure that takes place all in one night. We follow Lauren who is competing in The Hashtag Hunt. Along the way she meets new people, has some adventures that are a little out of her comfort zone and finds new friends.

There are definitely some elements that you have to suspend disbelief for, but this book was so fun I had to give it five stars. It was that good based on enjoyment alone, while also briefly touching on some heavier subjects regarding the individual characters.

All in all this was a great time and I would definitely pick up other books by this author.
