Queer authors from all of the world, with intersectionality in mind, write poems about the experience of being queer, the beauty of it and the attacks, the ugly, the brutal, about their childhood, their relationships, their hopes and dreams and their fears, their experience of the world. They spoke to me in a way poems rarely do. I would recommend it to anyone interested in reading queer poetry. Inspiring.Â
I would however be mindful of triggers, as many difficult subjects are addressed.Â
