Another good installment in the Martin Servaz series. In this book Martin is on sick leave after the events of the previous book. When he gets a strange package he is nonetheless sucked into a new case. The second story line that is presented is the one of succesful radio presenter Christine Steinmeyer. What starts for her with a strange letter, quickly turns into a case of harrasement by an unknown person. As the plot develops Christine gets more and more desperate and is gradually driven to suicide. Both story lines eventually merge to each other and provide a thrilling ending.

It was a completely different book from the previous ones and it presents some very interesting themes. Main theme in this book is the harrasement of people and how this can have great consequences. Bernard Minier succeeded in writing again a believable story with some intriguing characters! He seems to have done a lot of detailed research to make the story as believable as possible.

I have to say that Bernard Minier is quickly becoming one of my favourite crime fiction writers. Nesbo is still my number one, but Minier is a very good second! I'm already looking forward to the next installment! In that one I'm expecting a new focus on the Hirtmann case.
Rating: 8/10

this book is a mess!!!!

Spoiler things that i hated and still hate about this book:
-martin servaz is barely a main character anymore and he's lost his moral compass at the end
-the bi character is a rapist
-can bernard minier chill with the rape scenes?
-the mc literally lets someone die at the end.......... ok
-the plot. bad. awful. come on, you can do better @ bernard.
-bring back irène ziegler!!!
