This was really enjoyable, it was fun to see Darth Vader in the aftermath where we haven't seen him before. Was also happy when he chopped that droid in half

I loved about how it really went deep in his mind and it made me so sad at times because so many people deserved better

I’ve never been fully onboard with Vader returning to Tatooine or some of Anakin’s other old haunts but that being said they do some very interesting things with Vader in these issues.

I have always liked Star Wars but never been a part of the “fandom” really. Recently my boyfriend became obsessed with all things Star Wars - video games, YouTube videos on fan theories. I got this as a birthday present for him and gave it a read beforehand. Oh boy! I might have to fall down the same Star Wars rabbit hole that he has because this is amazing. All of the in-between story that’s left out of the main movie series. Surprisingly thrilling and action packed. Would totally recommend!

Darth Vader going on an emotional journey to find his dead wife’s grave and literally having to fight off her handmaidens who look exactly like her is about as depressing as it sounds.
Between the flashbacks being thrown into my face and the wounds of Padme’s death from my childhood remaining unhealed, this was a very heartbreaking 5/5 stars.

If you suffer from grieving over literal fictional characters for the majority of your life like me, read at your own risk.
