Sara does it again! This slow burn romance was exactly what I was looking for!! I love everything Sara does and this new one is no exception.

Have you ever heard about beardgasm? No? Read this book.
Kip Carmichael, aka Sasquatch, is not the typical jock. He plays rugby, he is giant with a messy beard and long hair, not really trying to impress the ladies and doing is best to keep from people that he is actually a really handsome and rich guy. Then Teddy happens and he really tries to just be her hairy godmother, but lest face it, he didn't stand a chance. She has always been the fifth wheel, abandoned by her "friends" as soon as they arrive at a party, she just quite not fitted in, but with Kip in her life she finds her place. It is very low drama, the girl is still a virgin, but the beard excuses all of that. Their relationship is super sweet and so funny, typical Sara Ney.

Part of a Series?: Yes
----------------------------------
Meeting the Characters
Kip Carmichael / Sasquatch
Teddy Johnson
Mariah Baker
----------------------------------
What happens?
Kip spies Teddy on her own at a party a his team's house and judges her hard. The following weekend he decides to actually tell her his judgment and the comes to her rescue when her shitty room mate Mariah who leaves her high and dry by leaving to take a guy back to their apartment.
Teddy is a shy person who lets Kip talk to her the way he does because shes a nice person. they soon find themselves hanging out most weekends and slowly getting to know each other.
Final thoughts
This was sweet. Kip was a nice guy and didn't treat her like crap. I liked the way he spoke to her and he treated her well. There was no big drama aside from him shaving and cutting his hair (its not a big drama but is drama) it was a good read.

The ending of this book was as nasty as the beard rash the main female got from having her p***y eaten out by a man with an unkempt beard. Also, I will never respect a book where the main female lead considers breaking up with the main male lead because he groomed himself (I wish I was kidding–he literally shaved his beard, cut his hair and showered and she said she didn't know if she could love him anymore). The start was semi entertaining though hence the two stars *sigh* my standards are broken and crumbling like the sand of an hourglass running through its glass smh.

This book was good but not great! Nothing out of the ordinary but it was still enjoyable as I was reading it.
