It's been a while since I've enjoyed a book this much. I loved seeing all of the crazy covers and reading about the even more insane plots of some of these books. I'm leaving with a slew of titles I'm looking into reading in the future. Hell, I may even actually buy this book, and that's saying something.

There are discussions about books involving sexual assault and animal cruelty, but they're pretty brief and pretty scattered. I'm usually super sensitive to those things, but it didn't bother me very much here.

My TBR is about to get bigger after reading Paperbacks from Hell because now I need to search for a bunch of paperbacks. I highly recommend it to horror fiction fans and anyone who loves old-school paperback covers.

I devoured this book like the rabid undead in the zombie apocalypse!!! WOW man!!! This guy is really into this stuff!! I love it!
Many of these books I remember as a young lad growing up in the 80's. Unfortunately, most of them I do not have anymore. Some of them I never read, but I just bought them because of the cover alone! Regardless of the level of horror one is comfortable with, there is something here for everyone. Every facet of the genre is covered. While it would be physically impossible to acknowledge every single horror novel that exhumed from the very pit of hell, I would absolutely categorize this as the definitive source of horror literature.
Grady my man, great job!!! Very impressive... and inspiringly nostalgic!!!
