Phoned-in Ellis-by-the-numbers. Pages are practically stuck together with gratuitous, meaningless, poorly illustrated gore. A real disappointment for anyone who's a Warren Ellis fan, or a fan of the Gravel character. Does nothing to change the perception that Avatar is where A-list comics writers toss off their B-list ideas.
