Not groundbreaking but incredibly enjoyable and actually had me LOLing a few times. A dark story with the perfect amount of comic relief.

SpoilerI cannot say I recommend this book. I partly enjoyed listening to its narration, relating to the intense and deeply-rooted anger women experience living in a world that has been systematically created to oppress them in multiple facets, but there were various serious subjects that are mentioned or occur in the book that were handled, in my opinion, quite flippantly. Granted, that flippancy and cynicism was part of the main character's personal traits, but it still felt unsettling to hear such a callous perspective at times. I simply would have preferred that these significant subjects be addressed differently.

The ending is better than the beginning and middle. I didnt find it funny at all - the reviews led me to believe it would be funny.

A fast-paced, gripping and gory exploration of female rage in the wake of the #MeToo movement. I didn’t expect to enjoy reading Kitty’s narration as much as I did, because she’s overall a snobbish, entitled and awful person, but there were some witty moments and I rather like an unlikeable protagonist. Parts of the plot were pretty predictable and the ending was cliché but I had a lot of fun with how unhinged the book got.
