Doesn't Fall Far From The Tree was an absolute delight to read. I've been a long time fan of the author Mina Rose and her writing never fails to amaze me! I have truly never read something so thought provoking and reflective regarding religion and Lucifer's story. With every poem I felt more and more invested in the story and characters. The descriptions of emotions and scenery really pull you into the exact mood the author is trying to convey. Something that stood out to me from other poem books are the extremely unique character designs (especially Lilith's and Eve's outfits) super detailed and suiting the aesthetic of the Garden of Eden. I can't forget to mention the star of the book Lucifer's design. I've never seen Lucifer depicted with darker skin and peacock feathers before. It was refreshing to see more diverse skin colors with the cast of characters. The beautiful artwork by Daria Cohen really helped portray Mina's vision for this poem book. I hope more people give DFFFTT a read since you can tell so much effort and love was put into this masterpiece.
