I'm gonna be honest I'm not a Tatsuki Fujimoto fan. I read his other works hoping that maybe I just wasn't a Chainsaw man fan because his short story collections are victim to the same thing as Chainsaw man: paper thin plot disguised by gore, women and good art.
This one is marginally better than the other one (stories a bit more fleshed out, art a bit better). It is also a little fun to see stories similar enough in plot and theme to be the predecessors of chainsaw man.

Another very good short manga collection!!! I think this one is better even than the other one I read. Each one really makes you think while also being entertaining and subtly funny. Turned-Into-A-Girl Syndrome was especially interesting, I was worried it would be transphobic but it seemed like a caring representation of a transgender-like experience. The demon sister one was very cute and seemed almost like an analogy for an older sibling who takes care of his high-support needs autistic little sister. He couldn't understand her ways of communicating at all but he still loved and cared for her. And the sister portrait one was hilarious and the ending was sweet. I thought it was especially funny how each story was described as being created because someone told Fujimoto that he couldn't do something with his stories and then he did it to show them he could. That is truly the best motivation there is.
Graphic: Animal cruelty, Animal death, Body shaming, Bullying, Cursing, Death, Gore, Misogyny, Sexual content, Violence, Xenophobia, Blood, Religious bigotry, Death of parent, Sexual harassment, and Dysphoria

Think of Tatsuki Fujimoto's style as parallel universe manga. His stories have pretty standard tropes and character delineations, but there's always the one thing that makes them uncanny and unalike a large majority of what is out there, all art mediums considered. What are those things? I'd hate to spoil that for you.
This collection has two standout tales for me: Nayuta of the Prophecy and Sisters. Both center around kinship and the weighty responsibilities we bear toward our siblings or relatives, and how our enduring love for them persists in spite of all the insanely bizarre and inevitable complexities. What impresses me the most about Fujimoto is his ability to adeptly elicit strong emotions in the reader, even amidst the most eccentric plots.

These short stories were really weird, but I enjoyed them all.
