A cute book about group of animals that found a radio. This would make a great one-on-one story for lower elementary children.

Read at Outreach storytimes in December. It worked well for the littles (preschool and preK and for first grade classes.) Kids enjoyed making predictions and noticing details in the illustrations.

What fun! Although I did have to tell Lily what the box was (lol). I was glad it ended the way it did. It was sad the box was gone, but the animals had found a new appreciation for what they already had. <3

When fox discovers a musical box (radio) buried in the snow, he and the other animals start to sing and dance. Once the radio stops working, the animals learn that there is music in nature all around them.
