I enjoyed this! It wasn’t asking creepy as I was expecting(people made it sound so creepy). I was intrigued and wanted to see what was going to happen, but I was honestly mostly in this for the romance honestly. Some parts of this were very hard and disturbing to read. I don’t love the ending it just felt kind of rushed idk. It was enjoyable, but I didn’t find anything shocking tbh.

This story is extremely twisted but what do you expect from CoHo! She’s gonna give you complex topic, chaotic and messy characters, very questionable decisions and probably toxic relationships to some extent. Because this is a thriller I can’t really say too much without giving out too much. But there were some moments when I was like did we actually need this? I did enjoy it, it is addicting and read basically the last half in like a day, you will be creeped out lol and the ending will have you questioning everything!!!

There were 2 things mentioned between the characters and I guess I was expecting them to be more detailed or have a bigger part on the story than they did. They were literally just, here you go and it’s here because I the author put it there, and that’s it lol like did we need it? We needed one of the things but not both.
And the other reason why this isn’t a 5⭐️ is simply because I would have to guard people of what they’re truly about to get into to. You have to be in some kind of therapy to be able to write something this terrible to not just kids but infants, babies! And CoHo’s books really need to start coming with a trigger warning page because everyone and their mother talked about this thriller and this creepy manuscript but no one mentions the messed up things within the pages of said manuscript 🤦🏾♀️ so take it as you will.
