plethorian's review against another edition
Maybe I'm just in the wrong place/too late for this one but it didn't take long for me to see why there was a significant publication of BIPOC-focused feminism books since this came out. Just felt like a book lacking nuance, and relying on shock-factor. There's no need to just list every incident of sexual violence as a way of convincing the reader that your premise is legitimate. I'm good.
Moderate: Child abuse, Child death, Domestic abuse, Misogyny, Rape, Sexism, Sexual assault, Sexual violence, and Murder
Minor: Trafficking and Kidnapping
