This killed the series. Even in my Russian-mafia standard this was off. There was tension, yes, but there was no chemistry.

The beginning of this book was rough. Like he assaulted her(slapped her…?!!!)
I hate these kinds of things bcz of the main end up together, it feels stockholm syndrome, like mentioned in the book, a few time..
But not gonna lie, in a weird f-up way, Ronan aka D'yavol  grew on me.
This couple is completely different from the first two.
Christian + Gianna and Ronan + Mila= when their love language is literally them insulting one another>>>
—
Beside that this man kept her earring with him…?!
—
And Christian, Gianna and Kate appearances and Ronan sweet moments with Kat.
-

Christian looked like Gabriel the archangel.
Ronan was every part D'yavol. I knew if they stood on separate sides of an alley and I was running from danger
I'd jump into D'yavol's arms.

Quotes:
Mila glowed. The only shadows that
touched her were mine.

She gave me her forgiveness.
I had nothing to give her but vengeance.

For me, even this grade is too much. I am only giving this book a two for certain moments where I got Christian and Gianna and certain moments where I liked Mila. I couldn’t bring myself to like Ronan at any point in this book. Even at the beginning, he was so suspicious - I just knew something was off. Ugh, just thinking of reading this book gives me the shivers. Unwanted ones. I legit don't understand what there is to like about the main ship, I don't get it, maybe I am blind in that aspect of not seeing the oh so adoring love between Ronan and Mila but... I just can't. I liked certain characters mentioned in the book, as I said mentions of Christian and Gianna as well as "Igor". I really liked their "friendship" if you can call it that? I wanted more of them together. That’s it really.
