Tw: alcoholism

This was a good end to the trilogy. It was interesting to see how the sensitive nature of alcoholism was felt with. There were good side characters and the small town feel was decent.

Over all I was just glad that the series wasn’t longer. Any more and it would have felt too drawn out.

The rival home buyer gave a foreshadowing snippet into the next series.

It made me laugh that in this day and age we have to have the standard set to billionaire romance in order to have people afford what a millionaire romance was just a few years ago. Just a funny observation

While not my favourite of the series I did enjoy this book and would recommend the series as a whole. The book is nothing outstanding but I had a good time listening to it.

So cute and very emotional. I still want to kill Seth Kane in case anyone is wondering. But I really liked Alana and finally getting Cal’s story. Also, the progression of Cami and Cal’s relationship was so dang cute. I’ll never get over it.

I’d been putting off reading this one for a little bit because I wasn’t ready for the series to be over. But god was it such a beautiful conclusion. Cal’s story positively broke my heart. But watching him grow and change and become the best version of himself was so beautiful. I love a good second chance romance and this one was oh so satisfying!

This is a hefty read, emotionally, with the main theme of the story being addiction. However, it was handled and written sensitively and realistically by the author. For an almost 600 page book, this felt like way less. It was such an easy read with great pacing, generally great plot, and great characters.

Acouple of gripes would include a few grammatical errors and minor inconsistencies, and also that Cami felt like this idealistic, spoilt 5 year old written by someone who has never met a 5 year old. Also the way that Cal just barged back into his ex's life and just demanded she sell her home as if it didn't matter, bullying her into selling it until she agreed, and then when she had doubts about it he would get pissy and say "I thought this is what you wanted". However, if these things didn't exist then the book wouldn't have been as enjoyable as I found it.

Definitely a rollercoaster of a book. But definitely definitely not for people who may have triggers around addiction, specifically drugs and alcohol.

Obviously as predicted this is my favourite book and my favorite brother out of the Dreamland billionaire series. Not that big of a surprise. Hower this book was not as good as I hoped it would be.

So let me begin, first off Cal is absolutely gourgeous, perfect, pretty, jaw dropping, pantie wetting, hot, amazing, flawless, did  I mention absolutely perfect. Without a doubt one of my new favorite book bfs. HOWEVER Lanas character was lacking in many areas. She was sadly a not very well developed and thought out character.  The plot was not something you´d never seen before but the addiction aspect was kinda interesting. I can´t really judge if it was written ideally, since I literally don´t know shit about dealing with substance abuse, but I can say that I liked how it was handled in the book.

The town they lived in was INSUFFERABLE, the people were so childish ugh. Cami was really sweet and cool, we like her. I was incredibly positively surprised by Declan, he might actually be not as bad as I thought but in his own book he was the biggest ick and red flag I´d ever seen. Rowan and Zahra as always did not interest anybody in the slightest because they kind of are boring, let´s be honest people. But I´m getting off topic.

Overall this was a pretty mid series, nothing bad per se just easy escapism and very mid vanilla smut.
