I really enjoyed Final Offer, I thought it was such a good ending to the series. I loved Cal in the previous books and knew I'd love his book. I really recommend checking the trigger warnings for this one though.

For Cal to inherit from his Grandfather's will, he has to meet all the stipulations; which is easier said than done when the only girl he's ever loved, is standing between him and his inheritance. Lana's heart was shattered when Cal left and chose his demons over her. Now Cal is standing in front of her and she can see the man she once loved still in there but he still very much has his vices.

I really adored Cal and Lana's story. I thought it played out perfectly and I'm so glad we got to see Cal's story. It is definitely the harder of get three to read just because of the subjects, but I really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend this series!

Wow. Um I don’t even know what to say really except that this book really has changed my life. It’s definitely my top book of the year easily.

The themes of this book are difficult and are actually ones that I hold really close to me personally. I feel like the whole book was just emotional whiplash but in the best way possible. The whole time reading I felt like my heart was clenched and quite literally in the hands of the beautiful characters in not just this story, but the whole series as a whole.

Cal’s journey was definitely the most emotional of the 3 brothers and one that had me rooting for him the whole time. He goes through so many ups and so many downs which mimic the real life journey of many addicts, and to watch it all unfold throughout the book with the love and support of his family and the love of his life Lana was beautiful.

Lana was such an amazing fmc and definitely one of a kind. Straight from the opening of the book I knew she would make me laugh a lot. But on top of that, she also was resilient despite everything she had to go through and was going through throughout the course of the story. I loved little Cami so so much I can’t even describe it. Watching Lana and Cal and Cami all unfold together on the pages really made my heart melt. I loved them so much.

With this, the Kane brothers’ stories come to an end. A very very emotional end for me personally. This series really has a special place in my heart beyond words can describe.

 Thank you Lauren Asher 💗

reviewing my spreadsheet for this book and all i wrote is:
"can a book be both your favorite and least favorite at the same time?"
so. yeah.

cal, our mmc, had some struggles that hit a little close home for me. as someone who, in the past, consistently felt like someone else's addiction was more important than me, and felt pushed aside with regularity because of it, this book was hard to read at times. but cal pushing through it and recognizing his behavior, and working on his relationships with his family and our girl lana made it a fun read too. lana, our badass fmc, keep me in it and rooting for them.

we've got second chance romance, forced proximity, single mom, and enemies to lovers.

per my spreadsheet:
spice 🌶  - a 4 🌶  spicy (romance.io scale)
length - just right
reading speed - read in 4 days
did it make me cry? - oh just about. i think i was a lil enraged during the times i would normally cry lol

Wow! This book was my favorite of the series by far! Even without the romance aspect, the story itself is so powerful and heart wrenching. If it was possible to give it a million stars I would. This series just kept getting better and better as it went along and I honestly feel like the best was saved for last. If you are in the mood for a second chance romance with perfectly written tension, and toe curling spice, that isn’t afraid to deal with heavier topics, then I highly recommend adding this book to your list.

I really, really liked this book! I wish I could read it again. Cal is such a fun brother, but can be a little bit annoying, and Lana is one of my favourites from the series. I was so happy when they all had children and were all happy. When they had the fight it wasn't that bad and I could cope with it. My favourite scenes were; when Cal met Cami, when they finally made out, when they went to Dreamland for Cami's birthday, when he proposed, when they all had children and when Cami asked Cal to adopt her.

I loved Cal so much in the previous books of this series, I can't stress enough how much more I loved him after this book. I loved seeing his problems and how he was held accountable for his bs.
