Another winner in the Dreamland Billionaires series. I loved Cal. I loved his growth.
This read was steamy and fun. I'm sad the series is coming to an end.

I wanted to give this book 5 stars because it was really good but I’ll say that it’s my second favorite book of the three. I was going into this book thinking that it would be my favorite by a long shot because I love Cal so much. From the first book, its like ever since he made an appearance, I couldn’t wait until it was more of him. And then, in the second book with Declan and Iris, I was waiting for more even more because he was best friends with Iris, so I got a little more, and I continued to fall deeper and deeper. With this book, what I expected happened, basically him, addressing his alcoholism, and finding his self in his place, where he stands with his brothers. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I did not like Alana. It’s crazy because with the first two books, Zahra and Iris were easy to like instantly, while I’m not sure where Alana sat. I guess I honestly don’t know why I didn’t like her. It’s just that she put me off so many times that I couldn’t get over it. Like every time Cal did something, it exacted a negative reaction and while sometimes I got the reaction she gave, every other time, I feel like it wasn’t called for. And of course I get wanting to protect herself and Cami, but she just pissed me off so many times.

And don’t get me started on the whole little town. Like I get that they wanted to protect her and care for her when he left but for them to just talk bad about him like he didn’t have a problem pissed me off so bad and it made me mad and that’s why it took me two days to read this book. I would’ve been done with it the first day I started reading it, but I had to keep pausing because everybody in the town, especially her best friends, every time they saw him, they just had to say something like it would kill them to stay quiet. He wouldn’t mess with anyone, but they just had to say something to try to get a reaction out of him, and that made me so mad.

Besides my hatred for everybody in that town and sometimes Alana, I really did enjoy the book. I love Cal’s relationship with Cami and his relationship with Iris. I don’t know what it is but Declan and Iris, they are the best couple. Out of every book, they are the best. I still love Cal with all my heart, but they just do something to me. I need to reread that book and I didn’t realize the impact they had on me while I was reading their book and how much I missed them while I was reading this book

Thank god this series is over, I really needed the author to wrap it up nicely and it was so predictable but I’ll admit it she did alright. I liked this one a lot better than the first two but still overall disliking the idea of second and third and fourth chances that seemed to be a theme throughout these books

I had high expectations going into this book because I loved the other two in the series so much. AND IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT.

I KNOW SHOCKING that I 5 stared a whole non-dark series but here we are.

Callahan f*ck!ng Kane. GOD. When I say that I am head over heals in love with him, that is an understatement. I mean I’m in love with all three brothers but Cal has a special place in my heart. Lauren really saved the best for last. My broken golden boy – I want to give you hugs & sit on your f@ce.

Cal has struggled for a long time to overcome his alcohol addiction and the way that it was written in this book breaks your heart- it's so accurate, how it not only hurts the person struggling but everyone around you. I cried MULTIPLE TIMES during this book, which really doesn’t happen to me very often. I loved Alana too, she is strong, smart, independent and extremely protective of her daughter. I loved them both separately & as a couple.

I’m usually not a fan of single mother/second chance tropes but this one just slapped.

Single Mother
Second Chance
Spicy
Angst
Billionaire Romance
Banter

Other Books in the Series:
Book 1: The Fine Print – Declan & Zahra
Book 2: Terms & Conditions – Rowan & Iris

I only read this to finish of the series and I can’t belive I’ve been this disappointed with a book. I liked cal in the other book only for him to be like that in his own book ?

Also this author just write to damn much is NEVER THAT SERIOUS. And on top of that I don’t really like how addiction is shown in this book or the way to get sober from it. He went to rehab and suddenly he okey ? I wanted more of his inner monologue but I can’t ask for too much with this book can I.

I love Alana she great love her she the only saving grace of this book.

Also what was up with the grandpa wil I thought at the end it would’ve been a bigger reveal but no :/ . So no

My heart broke for Callahan Kane but what a man and what a story !!! A perfect ending to the series.

Brady Kane was the meddler of meddler but he didn’t do his grandsons wrong.

This was the best book in the series period. I just loved their dynamics so much. Grandpa Kane, your meddling brought such good romances but this was theee best of all.

Of the 3 books this had me crying at the end. I wasn’t ready tbh. I honestly wanted to give everyone hugs and pats on the back and to say it’ll all be okay. Cami needs her own spin-off series, next generation if you will. I need so more from her and the other kids but especially her.

I throughly enjoyed reading Cal’s story. It was a very compelling story of overcoming one’s hardships and I enjoyed it so much. I love how the author wrapped up the story and will miss this series.
