This was my only bright note in the Black King event, hopefully the Black Cat and other crossover books are similarly a little better

"King in Black: Return of the Valkyries" showcases decent, if not outstanding, artwork and story telling. As part of the "King in Black" crossover event it is not surprising that this volume does not contain. a complete storyline. However, the book is also unfocused and sometimes downright incoherent. This book should definitely not be read on its own. It is nice to see a broad range of Valkyries back in the frey though.

Overall, this was a fun tie-in to the King in Black event. I'm always happy to see more of Jane Foster :)
