Amazing

The story between Grace & Logan is exciting and nerve-wracking at the same time. This is an absolute must read

I have read all of the Mountain Mercenaries books and the SEALS books, and this is nothing like those! I can see why there are so many low ratings for it. I have loved every one of Susan Stokers books up to this point. I was really debating a DNF, that's how strongly I disliked this story. For being retired military I wasn't impressed with their skills. I would never hire them as security!

I can give Grace a pass for dealing with her parents threats for so long because when you're raised with that kind of abuse it's all you know. I can even understand her dad at the end and her belief in him.

It's some of the comments like the general statements BY THE SECURITY PROFESSIONALS "They won't get away with this" or "we can talk to some of the staff and former employees of the architecture firm". You blatantly have her parents caught RED HANDED for kidnapping and drugging 2 people, and blackmail with photos when there is already a restraining order! You have proof and witnesses and the abduction on camera.

There are tons of holes in the characters of this story and it doesn't make me want to read more about the brothers. I'm pretty disappointed in this one, but I'm not giving up on Stoker. Maybe just this series!
