Reviews with content warning for Injury/Injury detail - Everyone In My Family Has Killed Someone

I think I've officially determined I'm not a mystery/thriller person — they just don't do it for me. This was objectively a good time, with a really fun, interesting story and fantastic characters, but I simply didn't care for the first half of it. The end definitely made up for it, but not enough to discount the fact that I seriously considered giving up halfway in simply for the fact that it wasn't for me. I'm glad I've made up my mind, though, because it means I can stop trying to force it with mysteries — the rest of you can have at it though.

Fun, mysterious, didn’t particularly like the narration style but it didn’t detract from the good story. Got a bit confusing to keep in my head who killed who (and when and how). I only saw part of the solution so was enjoyable to have the whole solution explained relatively slowly but the last piece at the very end was hard to fit back into the story I’d built by the.

The title is slightly misleading, but so is most of the book. I’ve never read a book where I felt so lied to while only reading the truth. It’s a hilarious dark comedy mystery.
