Man, oh man I was clinging to a fantastic “who dunnit” family mystery reveal at the end of this annoying read but instead the ending made this book unbearingly bad.

I think the narrator gave me an inflated ego & made me feel I understood WAY more than I did… until the end, and then it was clear I did not. well-written though! don’t read cockily like me haha.

A fun who done it mystery where literally everyone is capable. Decades long family history coming to a head at a family reunion where more deaths pile up. An entertaining narrator. Would definitely read more from this author.

What a fantastic book! I loved every part from start to finish. They writing was clever and superb. The main character and how he was written and how he talked to us, the reader, I really loved. And how he was writing a book about all that happened in this book we’re reading. The humor was great. The story was first class. The twists and revelations were welcome and mind blowing. Really just a great book overall!
