Homoerotic renaissance fantasy of the 16th century. Amazing prose; loved the story! Subplot of the brothers wasn’t satisfying but weird. If you like Shakespeare, this one feels even better.

Read for my Queer/Trans Non-Modern Class. Cross dressing lesbians. Roman Gods playing tricks on each other. This play inspired Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, one of my favorites. Adding this little known play to that list as well!
