Just gorgeous first of all, and a wonderful story of seasons.

This book was a rhyming description of a tree and all of the animals that use it as shelter throughout the seasons, all watched over by a wise owl. This would be great for a seasons-themed storytime.

I'm not entirely sure why the author isn't acknowledged on the cover of the book. BUT it is a great book about the seasons.

Beautiful colors, details, and layers aside, I love the texture of the cover and the pages. More often than not, if I'm drawn in by the physical experience of a book, I'll enjoy the the story and illustrations, too.

Excellent illustrations, the story is well put around different seasons and the peek-through element is well embedded. Wonderful for exploring the joy of books and learning about animals and seasons.
