Solid book overall, but it would’ve been stronger if Herman had consistently talked about misogynoir throughout the book in addition to giving it its own chapter.
I was also not thrilled with the cissexist language and wish the author would’ve discussed transmisogyny, as it would’ve further strengthened her argument. Still, I learned a lot about misrepresented women leaders and am eager to learn more about them thanks to this book.

The feminine rage I felt while reading this book was STRONG. I thought that it was very well researched, well outlined, and well written. You can really tell that this is a topic the author feels very passionately about. While I can't say I "enjoyed" reading this (I mean who really wants to read nearly 400 pages of women being belittled, demonized, and vilified) I think it was an important read and it left me with a lot to think about and reflect on.
