As I hoped, second volume didn't dissapoint me. Started to remember character names, not all of them, but better than at the start.
Love the 8th brigade, how they are there for eachother. Intrigued even more, new questions to be answered and backstories to be explored.
I like that it has some humor, makes me chuckle. Haven't seen that much of it in other mangas I am reading, appreciated that this one has it, but it doesnt mean its not serious.
Hoping for 3rd volume to be as good!

I love the mangaka's drawing style. As Soul Eater, the story has many religious elements (as the church itself and demons). We are also introduces to other plot of the title: corruption on the firefighters organization.

Wie schon bei Band 1 in der Review erwähnt, hat mich diese Reihe einfach total umgehauen. Ich bin gefesselt von der Story und möchte wissen wie es weiter geht, was hinter all dem steckt, welcher Charakter, was im Schilde führt... Die Charaktere sind so interessant und bekommen genug Tiefe, dass mit mitfiebert und mitfühlt. Von den Fanservice-Szenen war ich dann etwas überrascht, das sie für mich so aus dem nichts kamen und nicht so recht in das Format passen. Ich habe aber grundsätzlich kein Problem damit und es ist hier auch wirklich sehr gering.
Inhaltlich will ich nichts verraten, da es der zweite Teil ist, aber es wird halt immer interessanter und neue Charaktere kommen dazu. Ich habe schon etliche Theorien im Kopf, was hier noch so passieren könnte und wahrscheinlich passiert dann irgendwas ganz anderes. Ich bin so gespannt und habe mir gleich nach Beenden dieses zweiten Teils die nächsten 4 Teile bestellt.
