I genuinely never thought I’d be able to understand or learn investing this easily. Going into it, I was worried I’d finish reading the book and still not have understood everything I’d read. For 200 pages it does an amazing job at taking you from complete beginner to someone with more confidence facing the stock market. I liked and appreciated its honesty. It isn’t a book that promises the stock market will make you a millionaire overnight. I also like how it was laid out - it’s very easy to refer back to specific chapters and I also liked how it gave you steps to follow rather than just giving you information and then throwing you in at the deep end.

If you had told me just 3 days ago that I would gobble down an entire book on investing like it was Harry Potter, I would have laughed in your face. Yet here I am, 3 days after I first heard about this book, marking it as read. No one is more surprised than I am.
The book does the job it set out to do; it explains investing concepts in a way that anyone can understand. It made me realize just how much time plays such a big part in investing. It has given me the confidence I've been lacking to start making my own investments. Looking forward to listening in on the Girls That Invest podcast!
