This was a read-aloud for my summer school class.

Still one of my favorites after all these years. The ending actually made me cry, which is very unusual for me. Love it.

This was one of my favorite books as a child. It was interesting to revisit it now as an adult and pick up on so many aspects that my memory seems to have filtered out.

Reflecting back, I think the aspects I loved most about this book as a child was the dragon (of course) and it's E.T. mind-melding/telepathic abilities. Although I enjoyed the fantastical parts of the story, I was super pleased to find such complex themes and challenging vocabulary in a chapter book. Overall I'm pleasantly surprised at how well Coville's book holds up, and I'm glad to see that I've always had such great taste in books.

This was a childhood book. One that I still have and intend to read again when I get the chance. I remember that I used to love it, and even now I think I will again when I read it once more.

Cute story that is a quick read. I actually listened to it and wouldn't recommend that because the different voices were more of a distraction that helping the story along. Recommended for elementary-aged kids.

I read this book way back in grade school but I really liked it and I've remembered it all these years. I can't wait to read it to my kids some day.
