This is a solid read that I had never heard of and feel it should be talked about more.
I read this because it came in a mystery box and one of the 2022 PopSugar challenges is to read a book set on a train. While the story is set on a train, this is also a retelling of three Irish folk tales.
The characters on the train tell an Irish legend each and you can’t help but get fully immersed in the story to then have an interruption which breaks the spell but then leaves you in the train. The story telling within the story means there’s so many layers and it’s just so enjoyable to read.
