The only thing I can say about this book is that it was PERFECT. I loved the character development and the journey they went on. I didn't see the ending coming at all, I just assumed it would be like every other relationship Nora had. I was surprised and in awe to say the least.

Queen Emily Henry has done it again….I was hooked within the first few pages, and absolutely devoured this book. Book Lovers had me smiling, laughing, emotional, contemplating, just all of the things. These books are so relatable, funny, heartwarming, reflective of the human experience - Emily Henry is just magic. Charlie may also now be my #1 Emily Henry love interest (sorry Gus)

Oh my god, I am Nora Stephens.

I absolutely adored this book from the very beginning. From the first chapter I resonated so deeply with Nora and I am so glad that I read this book.

Charlie proved to her time and time again that she didn’t need to change. There was absolutely nothing wrong with who she was. He thought she was perfect just as she was and I just think that’s absolutely beautiful. And if Charlie is just the best, sweetest most amazing man ever, oh my god. I love him. He’s absolutely one of my favorite fictional men I’ve encountered.

Thank you Emily Henry. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Because I will have it all.

3.5

I really wanted to love this book! It had me hooked from the very beginning, I love how it almost makes fun of romance stories and cliches. About halfway in I did start to get bored. Giving it 3.5 because the beginning was so strong and I liked the characters. Something just fell a little flat. I do think this is probably my favorite of all her books.
Spoiler I loved the tension between Nora and Charlie, however I would have liked a little more buildup once they finally admitted feelings for one another. I felt like they admitted they liked each other and in the next breath were so in love. It felt a little fast or unrealistic.
