Every time Brittney writes a new book, I find myself with a book hangover. I swear her books just get better and better!

This new series is going to be so good. I love that she has characters from Stealth Ops show up, but that she has introduced a bunch of new ones for us to get to know. Especially Griffin. He is definitely an alpha male who I absolutely loved. I am glad that Savanna got her second happily ever after, and with someone who understands how much she loved Marcus, but realizes she can love him too.

"And then a stranger came into my life and called me Sugar." She closed her eyes. "And the page turned."

This book has all the suspense and romance. My two favorite things together. Griffin helps show Savanna she can find love again, and with someone different from Marcus. He makes her feel again, and she needed that. He had his own issues to work through, and it was good watching him grow. I will definitely be rereading this one again soon.

First time with the author.
I was initially overwhelmed by the writing and the amount of quickly introduced characters. I got used to it though third person POV is not my favorite.
This particular story was ok. I wasn't that interested in the mystery. Most annoying was the MMC feelings flip flopping all over the place with really weak reasoning.

0 stars if i could. A book that refers to all brown people as "terrorists".

Not a fan of the writing style. Makes it confusing trying to figure out what’s going on and too many characters. Not worth it.

I really wanted to like this book, but I don’t know, it was just lacking for me. The writing was not my favorite and very surface level and the characters weren’t believable for me.

4.25 ★ and now i'm a fan of Brittney Sahin.

randomly got this book to get over my mafia romance phase and i really liked this. plot was great, action was amazing, spice and angst was chef's kiss. and Savanna with all the romance book talk is love. might re-read this again when i get my hands on Jesse & Ella's book and bump this up to 5 stars then.
