I received this book from Netgalley in exchange of an honest review.

Gee, how could I resist? I have been looking forward to a new Big Nate book ever since I finished the last one. I kept hoping that it would be there soon so I could read more of Nate's adventures in life, see his friends, and also see what themes we have in this book.

Review to come in September.

Ridiculous! I can’t wait to drop references during class to see if anyone catches them! I will be reading more.

This summer, a question for the ages is answered, when is the best time to eat a banana? Nate certainly has an opinion in this book. He also interacts with many of our favorite characters; Kim, Chester, School Picture Guy, and Artur. One person who is out for a bit is social studies teacher Mrs. Godfrey. Nate is delighted until he finds out who the substitute teacher is...

Big Nate is always enjoyable, and this collection is no exception. This was maybe not quite at the top of the Big Nate pile and was missing some Nate/Gina interaction, but a solid entry. Always worth reading.

It's another Big Nate graphic novel... there is baseball, school, friends, family, and humor. The kids who have enjoyed it before will continue to enjoy it. You will learn that Nate likes green-yellow bananas and that all yellow bananas are too ripe. No plot, no character development - but it is funny. Kids will enjoy.

Big Nate books are always a hit with kids at our school library. Peirce has delivered book to keep kids laughing. The graphic novel style of the book will attract lower grade readers, and the story will keep them interested.
