Only two pages and absolutely worth reading, read it right now!!

I have such a soft spot for the minotaur and I love this exploration of him...... I love the constant sense of denial and sort of naivete. It's hard to tell if he knows the prophecy is his death and that's what he wants, or if he doesn't and genuinely believes he'll be freed. There's this constant feeling of loneliness and misanthropy; he yearns for connection and understanding but loathes the world for not allowing him to even try and have it.
He isn't a prisoner, he thinks human faces are weird and ugly, writing is useless, he hurts himself, he plays pretend, he dreams of friendship, he dreams of redemption, he dreams of freedom, but he is not a prisoner. He hopes his "redeemer" will be like him.

" "Would you believe it, Ariadne?" said Theseus "The Minotaur scarcely defended himself." "
