Short story to understand better Genya. It’s too short to give it 5 stars, but I really enjoyed reading how she became who she is.

In the main series, Genya is one of my favourite characters and this novella really reminds me why she is.
Seeing as it's a novella that's especially you can't really get much from it but the 18 pages added to Genya as a character making reader understand her more as well as her backstory which is heartbraking.
That's all i can really say as it's so short.

The situation with the king and queen is so disgusting. I’m happy I read this before Siege and Storm. Can’t wait to read more of Genya and the Darkling.
