Laylah Roberts is consistent in turning out stories that grab you and take hold. Haven, Texas is unlike any other place on earth. Laylah's men are alphas with protective streaks and sex appeal guaranteed to melt your Kindles! Her women are feisty, strong, intelligent, and beautiful, inside and out! Jaret's heart is bruised after a love affair ends badly. Clementine arrives in Haven determined to prove her mother wrong and make her grandma proud. When they meet, sparks fly and the witty banter flows! I loved them as individuals and as a couple! Clementine had me rolling and wishing we were friends in real life and Jaret was the perfect blend of grumpy alpha and protective lover. This one is guaranteed to become a go to comfort book for me, just like all of Laylah's books.
