A sick and twisted ride through the outback

Oh where do I Start with this one. This is extreme horror through and through. Caleb and his brother travel across Australia, killing everyone they meet in a series of inventive and extraordinarily nasty ways. Each chapter is like a little vignette of their murder spree, a plastic surgery clinic, a rural petrol station and an outback tour bus are just some of the places they find.

All in all lots of nasty, horrible fun

This is the second McHardy book I’ve read. I think I understand his method of operation now: as gross and outrageously violent as possible. Aussie Sickos is the definition of extreme horror.

Twin brothers Sunny and Caleb are different in every way from intelligence to size (to “size”). Partly to impress their Uncle Red, partly to escape the law, the twins go on a homicidal adventure with their crazy dog. (Dogs and dingoes are also part of the extreme horror too.)

The outrageously violent parts come when scenes go beyond reality. A passage featuring a woman and a cactus was particularly absurd to the point of hilarity.

This book is NOT for sensitive readers. It’s not fancy literature, either. Reading Aussie Sickos is like accepting a dare to eat a hot pepper or taking a plunge in the Arctic Ocean. It’s an experience; I’ll just leave it at that.

I read Aussie Sickos through Kindle Unlimited.

Holy Hell!!! What a crazy, nauseating, gut churning, bloody little jaunt across the outback this book was. Disturbing and cringeworthy from beginning of the trip, all the way through to the end. Brilliantly brutal and a must read for any extreme horror fan!
