A once-in-most-lifetimes-kind-of-read.
"They knew that things could change in a day." This book does change you, or make you more aware of what is already inside all of us (a deep sense of humanity?), and if I were you? I would read it in a day.
Tragic. Beautiful. Lovely.

What unique and beautiful writing. This tale is incredibly moving and Roy’s prose is so absolutely unique. Very difficult to describe - so I’m not even going to try, but here’s a short review to say this is a wonderfully moving story.
