Thank you Sharon J for recommending this series to me. This was an incredible read. The story was very interesting, and I thought the characters were amazing. Leralynn is the heroine of the story and I thought she was sassy for being mortal. Coal is the serious one, River is the leader, Tye is the flirty one, and Shade is the protective one. Each boy had their own personalities, and I loved them all equally because of their differences. The story picked up more and more as the story continued. I thought that the world was intriguing and different. The ending was a bit abrupt, but I cannot wait to see what happens in book 2. Overall, an amazing read.

This was a great beginning to the series. I'm not a huge fan on how fast the relationships build, but I do like that she is willing to learn and become amazing.

Predictable but intriguing

I'm gonna do a short review for a short book but this was okayyy. It was very SJM knock-off and it was really annoying that the book ended when they were finally getting to the smut. Like I'm not reading reverse harem for the plot, ya know? And yet it had so much plot and then absolutely none besides them walking around being dramatic.

I know SJM doesn't own fae and anything like it but the overall vibe was just trying to be her. The fae are called males and they spend half the time growling and being controlling of the lone FEMALE. Plus one spent most of the book as a wolf and it was lowkey furry shit?? She was like petting him I'm thinking oh lawd I gotta go.

Well written story!

Alex Lidell has written such a great story that, I for one, cannot wait for book 2! I could feel the heat between Lera, Tye, Coal, River, and Shade while I was reading/listening to the story! I highly recommend this story to RH lovers. I certainly enjoyed reading this!
